Upset minded Durocher Saint-Lambert U14s defeated in the championship game of the Basketball Quebec Summer Festival in Longueuil.
L’Impact kicked off the weekend with a 46-40 victory over St-Hyacinthe V-Kings before cruising past Fall River 77-62 to clinch the first place of its pool and qualify for Sunday’s championship game. The team faced the Espoir team of Rive-Sud in the finals. Durocher Saint-Lambert fell short of the upset, losing 51-45.
The U13s and U15s both finished the weekend with 1 win and 2 losses respectively.
Durocher Saint-Lambert will have two weeks of preparation before its first ever trip on US soil.
